Sterling silver can oxidize over time in air and turn black. It can be easily cleaned with warm water, a little soap, a cloth or a soft toothbrush, or with various silver cleaning agents . Or simply wear the good piece, the touch keeps it silver.

The gold-plated ring: The high-quality galvanic gilding encases this sterling silver ring with a fine layer of gold. Over time, this gold layer can rub off, then silver shimmers through. Therefore, ideally, remove the piece of jewelry during sports or manual work to protect it from manual impacts. – I would be happy to gild the ring if required for a small fee.

Gold is a very easy-care material; if you don't go into a sulfur bath, you'll enjoy it forever. If the shine becomes less shiny over time, please come by and I'll polish it up for you free of charge so that it shines again!
