Hello
I'm Johanna – jewelry artist from Vienna with a passion for art and fine craftsmanship. I studied transmedial art at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and Mexico as well as communication sciences at the University of Vienna and studied jewelry design in Vienna.
When I'm not sawing, designing, milling, polishing or setting stones in the studio, I'm illustrating children's books, tailoring my clothes or hiking through nature. I particularly appreciate the exchange with warm people and I enjoy creating something special with my hands.
You can find my jewelry in the studio in Vienna, you can find a selection here or see you on instagram. Just write me if you want to talk about a project. I look forward to it!

sustainable & local
In order to use valuable resources sparingly, I work with recycled gold & sterling silver from state sources and use wonderfully ancient tools. I share the jewelry studio with dear goldsmith colleagues, so the machines and the room are used together.
Each piece of jewelry is packed in eco-boxes from Europe. The chains are made by an Austrian manufactory, all other materials are available from the surrounding specialist shops. And the master engraver also works right around the corner.
my path to goldsmithing
In the beginning there was art...
ART
In the beginning there was art – while studying art in Vienna & Mexico I deepened my desire for new thinking & finding form, my joy in sensual reflection of the world and expression in mixed media: drawing & painting, photography & video.
HAND
Then came the desire to create with my hands – the goldsmith & jewelry design education led me to the studio with it's ancient tools, old & new techniques and the smell of metal, leather & wood, which reminds me of my grandfathers workshop.
