Hello
I'm Johanna – jewelry artist from Vienna with a passion for art and fine craftsmanship. I studied transmedial art at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and Mexico as well as communication sciences at the University of Vienna and studied jewelry design in Vienna.
When I'm not sawing, designing, milling or polishing in the studio, I'm illustrating books, digging my hands in garden soil, or marvel at this wonderful nature. I particularly appreciate the exchange with warm people and enjoy creating artistic treasures for special people with my hands.

sustainable & local
To conserve valuable resources, I work with recycled gold and sterling silver from government sources. All leftovers are collected and recycled back into gold and silver.
I share the jewelry studio with my lovely fellow goldsmiths in a shared studio, so the space and equipment are used jointly. For my work, I use some wonderfully ancient tools, some of which have been in use for several generations.
I'm fortunate to work with small, local suppliers: The surrounding specialty shops offer all the materials for goldsmithing. And the master engraver also works just around the corner. The necklaces are made by an Austrian manufacturer in Carinthia. Each piece of jewelry is packaged in eco-boxes from Europe.
